Patrão, it sounds impressive right? It’s Portuguese for “head of the family” and it’s the name we give to our Restaurant Managers. In this role you will have full accountability of the restaurant and your team to deliver on a key business results. You will be a people focused leader developing and challenging your team to provide an excellent restaurant experience. 


Key Accountabilities: 

  • Champion our culture and build a safe, happy and friendly environment;
  • Proactivity review the sales and profitability of the restaurant and create a clear action plan in line with your Area Manager to improve and maintain standards; 
  • Be the champion of the culture and the values through recognition, involvement in events and activities.
  • Run great shifts ensuring you are always present and active during peak times. 
  • Recruitment and development your employees which include Team Members, Supervisors and an Assistant Manager;
  • Managing key business processes such as rosters, wastage, promotions, marketing, cleanliness, inventory, safety, cash control and food safety; 
  • Communicate key messages to your team and ensure that your team have what they need to do a great job in restaurant;

Selection Criteria

  • Experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a hospitality, retail or leisure environment is essential;
  • Experience developing and training others and building a team;
  • Understanding of Restaurant Operations controls and costs;
  • You're a people person who enjoys connecting with others;
  • Ability to work full time 
  • Comfort with kitchen operations including running a kitchen, coordinating, preparing and cooking meals
